Official visa center of Russia in Iran

In order to apply for a single, double, multi business visa you must submit the following:

1. The invitation for an entry into the Russian Federation issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation; OR The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs decision to issue a visa;
2. For entrepreneurs: a written request addressed to the General Consul from the host legal entity, institution or their branches or state or local authorities of the Russian Federation. ATTENTION! In this case, the written application must contain information about the name, surname, date of birth, citizenship, passport, the duration and purpose of the trip, the frequency of the requested visa of the invited person, and also the full name of the legal entity and its address, name, surname must be indicated in it , position of the person who signed the appeal, and his phone number. If the inviting person is a legal entity, institution or their branches created in the territory of the Russian Federation, - identification number of taxpayer; registration number established in accordance with the laws of their state. To the inviting legal entity, institution, or their branches or state or local authorities must be sent a copy of the invitation by e-mail to the address of the Consulate General from your official e-mail address
   
3. For drivers: A written request addressed to the Consul General from the Iranian Head International Transport Companies Association (ITCA). For this category of citizens a multiple entry visa can be issued only for a period of up to 1 year.
4. A foreign passport in which there are at least 2 blank pages for visas valid for 6 months from the date the visa expires;
   
5. A copy of the passport page with personal data and a photograph (biographical data). This is the passport page, which contains the name, date of birth, passport number, date of issue and expiration, and a photo of the owner.
6. A visa application form completed on the website visa.kdmid.ru, printed and signed by the applicant in person. In the Visa Center you can use the service to fill out a visa application form.
7. A color photograph of 3.5x4.5 cm on a light background with a clear image of a full face without glasses with tinted windows and without a headdress (except for citizens who, due to their national or religious affiliation, are depicted in a headdress in a photograph in a passport). In the Visa Center you can use the additional service for making express photos;
8. A health insurance policy valid for the entire period of stay in the territory of the Russian Federation, or for the entire period of the first trip (in the case of a double or multiple entry visa), or for a period of at least 30 days and covering the validity period of the visa.
9. An HIV negative test certificate (only FOR MULTIPLE ENTRY VISAS)

Important! In case of possessing two or more passports, before submitting the documents to a Russian Visa Center, please, make sure there are no valid visas in other documents.

Please note! Consulate institution reserves a right to request additional documents for visa application, invite for an interview or extend the duration of a visa processing.

Please note:

1. The terms of consideration are calculated from the date of receipt of documents at the consular institution. In some cases, by decision of the consular institution, the review period may be extended or shortened.
   
2. You can submit documents by post using the postal service.
   
3. Towards citizens of the state with which the Russian Federation has an international agreement on the amount of visa fees the relevant fees are applied.

Completing the Russian visa application form

The application form for a Russian visa should be filled out in electronic form on the website of the Consular Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry: https://visa.kdmid.ru.

At your request, we can fill out the application form for you at the visa center. This is a paid additional service worth 5$ for each page of the application form. 

A separate application form must be completed for each applicant.

If you are going to fill out the application form by yourself, we recommend you the following:

1. Read carefully and follow the instructions and tooltips on the website.
2. When registering a new application form, create a password consisting only of Latin letters and numbers.
   
3. Write down the password and number of your application from, which will be assigned to it automatically. Take your number and password with you to the visa center. The number and password will be useful if you need to print the form or make corrections, so as not to fill out the entire form again.
4. Name and surname spelling must strictly correspond to the data of your passport.
5. Specify the purpose of your travel, duration of the visa and number of entries, the data of the host person or organization (name, date of birth, address) must correspond to the invitation.
6. Enter information about your previous trips to Russia and other foreign countries according to exit-entry stamps in your passport.
   
7. At the final step of completing the application form choose the place of submission of the application — Visa Application Center Interlink Services (Tehran).
8. After filling out the application form on the website, print it out in one copy and take it to the visa center.
9. If you do not have a printer, we can print out your application form at the price of 0.3$ per sheet.
